They’re working on the rear spring, wonder what sort of devise they used to hold it. Putting oil in the rear shocks was wrong, André’s have a water-glycerine mixture.

Cut slot in ends of rear spring leaf.
Drill out spring eyes to correct diameter.
Grease and clamp spring leaves together.
Make up “U” bolts for spring fitting to rear suspension.
Remove rear spring hangers and remove worn bushes from castings.
Make up two phosphor bronze bushes for spring hangers.
Fit 3 way brake connectors to diff casing.
Shape and fit brake pipes to rear drums.
Re position rear shock absorbers connection pipes to clear torsion bar hangers.
Fill diff with oil.
Bolt in position diff/brake unit.
Connect up brake pipes.
Re cut threads on shock absorber bolts and re fit.
Braze nipples onto brake bleed screws.
Fill shock absorber reservoir with oil, fit shock absorber pressure gauge and bleed system.
Fill front shock absorber with oil.
Dismantle and strip four doors.
Strip paint off doors, prior to repairs.
