New radiator grill insert and bottom plate

The original radiator grill insert was getting pretty tatty with some of the mesh section rusting badly. Attempts to repair it simply resulted in the more pieces breaking away.
An almost complete secondhand grill was located in the UK for £250. It had a couple of broken mesh bits but otherwise was in good condition. It had been painted with silver frost with no evidence of ever being chrome plated. I painted it with “chrome finish spray paint”. It also came with a bottom plate that was missing from the old grill. It now looks much better and the engine warms up a little quicker, which is good.
For some reason the horn didn’t fit into the hole in the plate, so a new mount was made for it that bought it up and back a little. I also turned up and plated a crank hole cover.
